tarot spreads provide structure and shape for our tarot readings, serving as blueprints to help guide the conversation that we have with our cards. with a good tarot spread, we can get specific about the kind of information and insights we receive from the deck, and can ensure that whether we want insights, support, encouragement, advice, or even harsh truths, we get what we're looking for.

but there are a lot of spreads out there in the world, and sometimes it's impossible to find just what you need from a pre-made spread. and while tweaking existing spreads is very much possible (i literally wrote a whole book about it!), there's also another way.
