wanna bring astrology into your tarot practice?

we can make it easier — and a lot more personal.

tarot correspondences can be wildly helpful.

a correspondence is simply a connection point between two different modalities, translating an idea from one system into another. and when it comes to tarot and astrology, it's incredibly common for folks to want to apply their existing astrological knowledge to the cards — or to use the language of tarot to better understand the planets, houses, signs, and other astrological aspects.

but. when it comes to the major arcana, the most commonly accepted astrological correspondences were developed in the late 1800s by an occult group known as the order of the golden dawn — and if you don't really resonate with those correspondences, it might feel like you're stuck without any other options for your modern practice.

we'd like to offer you another path forward.

if you...

... want to deepen your tarot readings with astrology, or translate your astrological knowledge into the system of tarot, but aren't sure where to start

... want to bridge tarot and astrology in a way that deepens your spiritual practice rather than imposing (or following) rules and limitations

... have found yourself not using astrological correspondences for the tarot at all, because the ones you see online simply don't make sense to you

... wish you could find a connection point between tarot and astrology that resonates more deeply with you and your personal practice

...then we got you.

here's the thing — we don't particularly love all of the commonly shared astro-correspondences for the tarot either. and rather than continuing to chafe against these old associations, we decided to make our own. if you're ready to build tarot and astrology connections for yourself, to explore and consider new correspondences that actually make sense to you, or to expand your understanding of the major arcana with the help of hellenistic astrology, you're in the right place.

ready to get started?

let us help you build personal tarot astrology correspondences that you actually want to use.

in this lecture-workshop, we will...

... explain where the existing commonly accepted major arcana astrology correspondences come from — and why you don't have to use them if you don't like them

... talk through all 22 major arcana archetypes and their original golden dawn correspondences, sharing what we like (and struggle with) for each one

... offer you specific options for card-to-star correspondences, including planets, zodiacal signs, specific placements, houses, transits, even historical events — all designed to help you see these archetypes as multi-dimensional ideas

... provide space for you to develop your own unique correspondences, based on your personal relationships with these cards

... encourage you to trust your gut when it comes to correspondences, instead of just deferring to us or anyone else

this lecture-workshop includes both video and audio formats as well as a transcript, and runs for approximately three hours.

together, we are a married queer couple who both grew up in the restrictions of evangelical christianity and have found freedom in animistic witchcraft. we are passionate about the importance of art and magic in these Unprecedented Times, and about teaching others how to use spiritual modalities to deepen creativity, challenge assumptions, and make change in the world.
