it's been a hard year, in a string of hard years. 2024 has forced all of us to expand our perspectives, challenge our assumptions, and be honest with ourselves about who we are and what we believe in. resources may feel tight, possibility may feel out of reach, optimism may feel like a pipe dream.

yet there is still hope to be found, together.

as an 8 year (2+0+2+4 = 8), 2024's universal numerology can be examined through the dual lenses of strength and justice: two archetypes that intersect in their themes of patience, purpose, action, and impact. and indeed, when i offered strength & starlight earlier this year, i had no idea how badly many of us would need a chance to reflect on where our strength comes from, and what can nourish us on a daily basis.

we now sit in the halfway point of this year. and as we consider the fortitude and intentionality that true change requires, as we struggle to assess our own resources and consider what resilience looks like for us as individuals and as communities, i want to give us a chance to support one another in these efforts. every card in the tarot is an opportunity to recognize potential and power, beliefs and truths, courage and discipline.

featuring daily card examinations and community discussions in a private, supportive environment, resources & resilience is a month-long tarot container that will help you see the cards as possibilities, opportunities, and support systems.

every day in the month of july, i'll share a new tarot card for us to examine together, along with various questions and prompts that we can use to fuel our conversation. we'll consider how each card can serve as a personal resource, what the card might have to offer as a form of resilience and strength, and how the card's energy can have a lasting impact on the world — but we'll also let the conversations go where they will, and see where the tarot leads us.

together, we'll wander through the tarot, learning more about who we are, how we show up, and the various ways that our efforts can impact the world around us. together, we'll co-create a container of curiosity and support, wonder and devotion. together, we'll identify the resources we have access to, the power we already possess, and the kinds of nourishment that will keep us going for the long haul.

by the end of this container, you'll have a new perspective on the tarot, and a new confidence in how you can and do show up in the world.

resources & resilience is for anyone who is eager to dig into the tarot in a warm, supportive, community environment, and who wants to explore their own sense of resourcing, impact, and action.

this container takes place entirely in a private section of the 3am.tarot sanctuary discord server, so you will need an internet connection and a way to access discord (which has a website as well as apps for PC and phones).

there are no prerequisites for this container — all you need is curiosity, an eagerness to connect, and respect for new ideas. tarot readers at every level are welcome to participate, and you can share as much or as little with the group as you like.
