let's figure out what kind of rebel you are, using the language and archetypes of tarot.
unfortunately, not all of us were born to be rulebreakers. most of us were socialized to keep the peace, to follow orders, to color inside the lines — and many feel a lot of safety and protection when we know that what we're doing is "the right thing."
but the times that we live in are demanding more.
we cannot simply stand idly by and hope that by following the rules, we'll be exempt from the horrors that are impacting more and more people each day. if we want things to change, if we want to protect the things we love, if we want to build the kind of world we want to live in, we must start in the everyday. and we need to be willing to break a few rules and get a little uncomfortable along the the way — which requires intention, practice, and resilience.
whether you've already got that rebel energy but aren't sure how to apply it, or you're not sure that you know how to disobey yet, my next tarot container is for you.
some are meant to fight on the front lines, visible and demonstrative. others are built for subtler forms of disruption, working quietly from the inside. still others are building new systems or imagining new futures. whatever your role, whatever your skill set, rebellion and disruption are habits worth cultivating.
the tarot has so many cards that speak to challenge and defiance, courage and nonconformity. and by spending time with these cards, both privately and in discussion with like-minded explorers, we can expand our own perspective on what rebellion really means — and push ourselves to live out rebellion on a consistent basis, in whatever way makes sense for us.
by the end of rebel rebel, you'll have tarot archetypes you can work with on a regular basis, tarot spreads to use when you need a jolt of courage, and access to a community of seekers and dreamers who share your values.
this two-week container features daily tarot cards, reflection prompts, and discussion questions, all designed to expand your perspective on personal and collective rebellion.
if you've participated in one of my community containers before, rebel rebel will feel familiar — it takes place entirely in my private sanctuary discord server, in a separate channel just for participants.
each day in the server, from october 1st-14th, i'll share a tarot card along with prompts for personal reflection and questions to inspire discussion right in this discord channel. folks are encouraged to share as much or as little as they like, and you will be able to access the channel even after the challenge is over in case you'd like to revisit prompts or nuggets of wisdom.
you don't need anything in order to participate, and prompts are designed for tarot readers at every level. if you're ready to explore disobedience, disruption, and practical courage, you're ready for rebel rebel.
with the rapid decline of social media platforms, i am actively trying to expand my newsletter email list — which means that paid subscribers to my newsletter get a discount on this container! the regular price for rebel rebel is $55, but if you're a paid subscriber to the devils & fools newsletter, you'll have access to a discount code for a whopping $20 off.
not on the list yet? subscribe to devils & fools now for monthly essays, free tarot spreads, exclusive writings, and so much more — plus you'll immediately be able to access the discount for this container.
